Hi! My name is Mary. The founder and designer of Soulotte Studio. For me, the art of jewelry is a dialogue with the soul. My studies in psychology revealed that our most precious stories are often invisible, needing a physical form to keep them close. I believe jewelry should be more than an adornment; it should be an intimate legacy. My goal is to create pieces that hold an irreplaceable resonance, honoring the unique meanings and profound loves that define our lives.

The Evolution of Craft: From Paper to Permanence

In 2011, I founded my first jewellery brand, Dopamine, driven by the desire to turn fleeting memories into something permanent. I pioneered a technique to transform delicate paper—from wedding invitations to personal letters—into durable, waterproof jewellery that could be worn and cherished forever. These creations, which bridge the gap between the ethereal and the enduring, have been featured in the pages of Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, and ELLE magazine.

 

Mastering the Art in London

In 2018, I was awarded a scholarship for a Master of Arts in London, where I mastered the rigorous discipline of metalsmithing. I became captivated by the poetic tension between the strength of metal and the delicate, flowing lines of the natural world. This inspired the founding of Soulotte Studio in 2020. Today, my work celebrates botanical silhouettes, organic textures, and the raw, untamed beauty of rare gemstones. Every piece is an invitation to bring a bit more poetry into the world.

Recognition and Refinement

The journey of an artist is one of constant refinement. In 2021, it was a privilege to join Chow Tai Fook’s Design Residency Programme. In 2024, I was honored to be named a Top 30 Finalist in the HKJMA International Jewellery Competition—a meaningful recognition of the late nights and the heartfelt passion poured into every setting. That same year, I had the pleasure of serving as a guest speaker at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, sharing my philosophy with a global audience of collectors and creators.

In 2025, I opened the doors to my studio on Queen’s Road Central, Hong Kong. This cozy haven is inspired by the warmth of the home where my very first piece was born. To me, High Jewellery is more than an arrangement of stones; it is a personal history worn close to the heart. Soulotte Studio is a space for connection, where clients step into my world to witness the passion woven into every creation.
